Jamul Indian Village Development Corporation

The Jamul Indian Village Development Corporation (JIVDC) is a wholly owned entity of the Tribe. The Tribe established the JIVDC to pursue economic development ventures on behalf of the Tribe in order to provide revenue to the Tribal government and to improve the general welfare of the members of our Tribe.

The JIVDC owns and operates the gaming and non-gaming enterprises of the Tribe, including the Jamul Casino, which opened its doors in October 2016. The Jamul Casino employs almost 1,000 employees and generates revenue the Tribe has used to reinvest in the surrounding community, and to provide for the health and general welfare of its tribal members. The Jamul Casino features 1,662 slot machines, 41 live table games, 10 poker tables, multiple restaurants, bars and lounges, including JIVe, the Tony Gwynn Sports Pub and the award-winning Prime Cut Steak and Seafood. The Jamul Casino is a major economic engine for San Diego County. 

The JIVDC is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors. The Board of Directors plan to capitalize on the economic success of the Jamul Casino to diversify the Tribe’s economy for the benefit of the Tribe and the greater community.
